British Fluid Power Association

Represents Manufacturers and Distributors of Hydraulic and pneumatic products. Their web site is very useful with an impressive search facility which seems to cover every known brand of fluid power products. If you have to trace an unfamiliar name, and suspect it is hydraulic, try their search facility which will then put you in touch with a supplier.

The Fountain Society (registered as a charity)

The Society exists to promote, create and conserve fountains, cascades and waterfalls. Their Web site and Guide book "Creating a Fountain" contains much useful information.

The Sussex Pump Industry

The Sussex Pump Cluster has been established to provide an exciting vision for the Pump industry to develop and become a dominant centre for pump technology in the Southeast region with a focus on exploiting market opportunities by improved marketing, engineering, design, manufacture and supply chain development.
The South East of England region has 98 pump related companies employing 2000 people with a sales turnover of 380m. These companies range from service facilities, family owned businesses and foreign owned multinationals. All are characterized by being relatively small and having local management and P&L responsibility.

SBWWI - The Society of British Water & Wastewater Industries
The Society of British Water & Wastewater Industries was introduced following a merger between the SBWI (Society of British Water Industries) and the SRF (Sewer Renovation Federation) at the end of 2001. It represents the interests of UK contractors and manufacturers supplying the water and wastewater industry.

Its aims are to help members serve the water industry better by providing a forum for discussion and dissemination of information and it has become recognised throughout the industry as the foremost association for suppliers to the Water Industry.
